Privacy Policy
Last updated:
On Call Staffing Solutions is a healthcare and IT staffing agency. To place someone in a role we have to collect and share real information about them — a resume, licenses, the results of a background check. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and who else sees it.
It is written to be read. If something here is unclear, ask us and we will answer.
1.Who we are
On Call Staffing Solutions places healthcare and IT professionals with hospitals, facilities and employers in the United States. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean On Call Staffing Solutions.
Address: 5557 Baltimore Ave Suite 500-932, Hyattsville MD 20781
We are the controller of the personal information described below. Where we place you with a client facility, that facility becomes a controller of the information we pass to them, under their own privacy practices.
2.What we collect
When you apply for a job. Your name, email address, phone number and the resume you upload. You do not need an account to apply.
When you become a candidate with us. To present you for a role and to meet our clients’ requirements we may additionally collect: your address and date of birth, work history and references, professional licenses and certifications and their expiry dates, immunization and health-clearance records required by a facility, right-to-work documentation, and payment details where we pay you.
Background and screening checks. Where a role requires it, and with the separate written authorization the law requires, we obtain background screening reports through a third-party consumer reporting agency. We explain your rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act at the point we ask for that authorization.
When you contact us. Messages you send through our contact and staffing request forms, and conversations with the assistant on this site, including what you typed and any contact details you gave it.
Calls and text messages. Our recruiters call and text candidates through a third-party business communications provider. Message content, phone numbers and call times are recorded in our system so the recruiter working with you has the history.
Automatically. Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — and, where you consent, cookies described below.
3.How we use it
- To match you to open roles and present you to client facilities.
- To verify that you are qualified and eligible for a role, including licenses and screening.
- To communicate with you about applications, assignments, schedules and pay.
- To onboard, credential and pay you once you are placed.
- To meet legal, regulatory and client-contractual obligations.
- To operate, secure and improve this website and our systems.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. A recruiter reviews candidates before anyone is presented to a facility or declined.
4.Text messages and calls
By giving us your mobile number you agree that we may call and text you about roles, applications and assignments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or tell your recruiter. Opting out of texts does not withdraw your application — we will reach you by email or phone instead. Reply HELP for help.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
7.How long we keep it
We keep candidate information for as long as you are active with us and afterwards for as long as we are required to by law and by our clients’ contracts — records relating to placements, payroll and screening carry statutory retention periods.
If you have not been active with us and there is no legal reason to keep your information, we delete it or remove what identifies you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time; see your rights below.
8.How we protect it
Our systems run on servers located in the United States. Access is restricted to staff who need it for their role, connections are encrypted in transit, and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest. Staff accounts carry only the permissions their job requires, and administrative actions are logged.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
9.Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you marketing, or stop texting you;
- restrict or object to certain uses of your information.
If you live in California, the CCPA as amended gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. As stated above we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
If a background check is involved, the Fair Credit Reporting Act gives you the right to know what the report said, to dispute inaccurate information with the agency that produced it, and to receive a copy before any adverse decision is finalized.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first — we will not hand someone else your resume on request.
10.Children
This site and our services are for adults seeking work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11.Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you directly.
