NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist; valid license in the State of Maryland. NICUTherapist – NBRC registry preferred; NBRC Pediatric/Neonatal specialty preferred; Neonatal ResuscitationProgram preferred.

Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
Evaluates and integrates appropriate new technologies into cardiopulmonary care.
Functions as a clinical liaison between cardiopulmonary staff, physicians, and nursing staff when patient care issues are involved.
Identifies cardiopulmonary clinical issues and needs in patient care areas and participates in problem solving.
In conjunction with the management team, develops, manages, and performs competency testing of cardiopulmonary staff.
Participates in monitoring variances and facilitating resolution.
